Australia allegedly has a Minister for Defence.
I say allegedly because most people understand that a Minister for Defence does military things. Like making sure our military is up for the fight.
Our Minister for Defence cannot be accused of that.
Recent reports highlight that our new gazillion dollar Navy landing ships can’t operate when the waves get above 10cm. And our wariest helicopters can’t operate at all. The Tiger armoured reconnaissance helicopters have been grounded since August and there is no time frame at all to change that.
Despite these billion dollar problems, Marise Payne was in parliament today doing her very best to be the Minister for Cosmetic Surgery, rather than the Minister for Defence.
She was defending Defence-funded sex change operations and breast enhancements on the basis of [insert some inane and pointless feel good catch phrase here].
When pressed on why taxpayers were forking out for sex change operations for soldiers, this is what the Minister for Cosmetic Surgery had to say:
I think it’s invidious, in fact, to ahh, to try and distinguish between one health condition and one personal aaah health circumstance over another…
I’m not sure that Marise Payne really understands what she’s done.
She’s just announced that Defence won’t discriminate against a person on the grounds of their medical conditions. If you’ve been knocked back by Defence recruiting because of diabetes or the fact that you don’t have any legs, Marise Payne has just reopened the door for you.
Or she’s just making things up as she goes along on the Senate floor and actually has no idea what she’s doing at all.
And I’d hate to think that of the person in charge of our national security.
The good news about all this gender shenanigans is that blokes, who have been cut out from Defence recruiting because they are afflicted with the medical condition of being a bloke, now have a chance of getting a gig too.
All they have to do is announce that they are female. And Defence is totally cool with that, as shown from the screen shot of a Defence recruiting page below:

You’ll see the totally buff woman getting ready to pass the Pre-Enlistment Physical Test (PFA) of just 8 push ups. Because the woman is not a bloke, she doesn’t have to meet the more stringent requirement of 15 push ups for males and if she fails she’ll be able to spend 7 weeks getting paid at Kapooka to prepare for another test.
Men don’t get this opportunity because, well, they’re men and physically stronger which apparently is a limiting factor in combat…
…hence the reason our Defence Minister is backing boob jobs for blokes.
Meanwhile, Andrew Hastie, who is rumoured to know a tad more about the military than Marise Payne, had this to say about Defence’s sex change bill on Saturday:
“The ‘no fail’ mission of the Australian Defence Force is to win Australia’s wars,” Mr Hastie told The Weekend Australian. “I do not see how these surgeries enhance our war-fighting capability as a nation. It’s a bad joke. Why is the ADF now a vehicle for radical social engineering?”
In a speech delivered to the Defence Christians Dinner last month, Mr Hastie said he left the force because of its support for “social engineering”.
“I repudiate the aggressive social engineering that has been taking place in the ADF, particularly in the army,” Mr Hastie said.
“The military is no place for the latest academic fad or trendy political orthodoxy. We have lives at stake every time we send our people in the field. Commanders particularly need to be clear-eyed about the threats they face and how they can defeat them.”
And Cory Bernardi’s Australian Conservative’s has this policy statement on its website:
Similarly, the ADF must be allowed to do its job free from the constraints of political correctness and excessive social and cultural sensitivities. Australian Conservatives will guard against uniformed ADF personnel participating in political or social activism or decisions that compromise the effectiveness of front-line combat capability.
We will cease defence funding of gender re-assignment treatment or surgery and cosmetic surgery or fertility treatment unrelated to training or service injury.

Pregnancy empathy suits for male army soldiers
I do not believe for one second this is about pregnancy or empathy or female affirmative action for women (very few) who meet physical standards for combat or elite sports . This is about DEGRADING men. This is about DEGRADING the men who have the genetics/physical body types that would allow them to play AFL or rugby at an elite level.
And in terms of the army, it is about DEGRADING the men who can meet the physical requirements for combat.
To take another area of excellence which also has exacting physical demands and even a specific body type: the Russian ballet. I would say, this is the highest art form on the planet. And they only accept into the schools people who have what is called a ballet physique. This is genetics. Some people have it and some people don’t. And for those who have this body type and gifts that would enable them to dance at the Bolshoi – they can get into the schools.

While the training might be about talent and effort and all that – to start with you have to have a certain body type/genetics. And this is clearly evident in the auditions. If your body type has a low center of gravity, a short neck, big feet and stocky legs you will not be able to dance classical ballet at a professional level. End of story.
Hate to break the news to the snowflakes, trigglypuffs and unicorns but equality is a myth. There is no such thing in nature as equality. To enlist the powers of the state to enforce this myth is a contribution to hell on earth.

Possibly you do not know when the AFL supported ‘Marriage Equality’ they also intended to similarly combine with ‘NRL Marriage-Equality’ to create the one game of football. ‘Football Equality’.
Subsequently the AFL realised that is a dumb idea.
Moreover, the AFL has subsequently done a complete 180 degree turn and today realised that a bloke does not belong in an AFL women’s team.

A 30 year study in Sweden of all 324 of the sex reassignment patients in Sweden between 1973 and 2003. This study found substantially higher rates of overall mortality, death from cardiovascular disease and suicide, suicide attempts, and psychiatric hospitalisations in sex-reassigned transsexual individuals compared to a healthy control population. This highlights that post-surgical transsexuals are a risk group that need long-term psychiatric and somatic follow-up. Even though surgery and hormonal therapy
alleviates gender dysphoria, it is apparently not sufficient to remedy the high rates of morbidity and mortality found among transsexual persons.
All other studies have relied on voluntary reporting so often don’t include those unhappy with the resultsand hence the results are skewed.
Defence’s Medical Services are supposed to keep members fit to fight and with the above risks and the need for continual medication, sex reassignment members will not be fit for deployment.
Surgical treatment of a psychiatric disease (gender identity disorder as defined in DSM-IV) is often improper and is the same as the discredited treatment of depression by lobotomy.

If someone who is genetically male suddenly wakes up one morning and “feels” like they are really a female, then I suggest that they are actually exhibiting a form of mental illness. When I joined the Army in 1973, there were quite a few tests done on me to ensure that I was of sound mind and mentally capable of withstanding the rigours of training to become a commissioned officer. Seems that the psychs doing the psych tests on wannabe soldiers need to be tested themselves to make sure thay are fit for the job!
The ADF is only obliged to treat injuries which have resulted from Defence service; I doubt that any psychologist could rationally state that so-called “gender dysphoria” (nothing like creating a new important-sounding term to describe being unbalanced) was caused by a person’s Defence Force service.
Next thing there will be demands for “safe spaces” for the poor little snowflakes to retreat to when training gets too tough, and “trigger warnings” …. I’m not regretting my retirement, I would have been sacked for the things I would have said to the CDF if I’d had to tolerate this utter stupidity whilst I was in uniform.

TRANSGENDERS AND THE ADF.
The current reports getting around about the Defense Force spending some $1.2 mil on medical expenses (not including medications) for 17 of the 27 transgenders or gender confused personnel is not only disturbing but totally disgusting and a complete misuse of our tax dollars. I would like to know how these mentally disturbed snowflakes are able to pass the psych evaluation when going through the enlistment procedure to even gain entry into the ADF.
“Mentally disturbed” not quite PC terminology right, shame on me! Well consider this, the belief a person is trapped in a perfectly healthy body of the opposite sex is based on a “belief” and not a physical fact, the physical side of things are quite obvious and undeniable unlike the mental issues and to argue otherwise is just not logical and somewhat mind numbing. If a person makes claim to being an animal trapped in the body of a human, typically a dog, they are considered by most as being a nutter or similar (mentally disturbed) and if that belief was deep seated they would be treated by a Psychiatrist not a Surgeon. The two conditions are exactly the same thing, something they are not, trapped in the body of something they undeniably are so why are they treated so differently, the reason is pretty simple really “SEX”. We have been so exposed to the whys, hows, who’s of sex, both normal and depraved that morality is fast slipping down the toilet, so much so that even the word morality has become a dirty word and is scoffed at by most of us. If a disorder is sex related we are being forced to treat it as being normal, cant be helped borne that way, right of equality although completely different or in other words is it is about sex and it now takes precedence over all other things!
Truth is there is nothing we the people or any good politician in the Free World can do about it because we live in a “Free” world so all we can do from this point on is to watch the decline through to its inevitable end, the demise of civilization as we know and see what comes out the other end, if you don’t believe this you need to look back into the history of previous once great civilizations, I rest my case!

Even whilst I was a member of the ADF, there was a saying ” Who psyches the Psyches?” The question has never been more valid.
Certainly a “stitch in time” still “saves nine”.

We will not win a war when as a friend in the military put it “ there a two types in the military. The ones that want to soldier and the ones that don’t want to be unemployed”. With this in mind positively amazed that now we don’t want the ones who want the soldier.
This force is meant to protect us and while politicians have there finger in the pie telling them what when and where to do whatever. How can this be achieved?
We need a military that is easy to get in and out. Has only one goal to defend the country and nothing else on its mind. And lastly the prerequisite that the minister in charge has served.
