When a win is still a loss

Safe Schools has rightly come under criticism.

Australians should thank Family Voice Australia, Saltshakers, the Australian Family Association, the Australian Christian Lobby and numerous other groups for their efforts battling this horrendous program, which Rodney Croome has now linked to the push for homosexual marriage.

They should also thank George Christenson and Senator Cory Bernardi in particular for the pressure they have brought to bear in the parliament. George Christensen has rightly used his parliamentary position to detail allegations linking the program to an advocate for paedophilia. These allegations should now be urgently investigated.

Safe Schools supporters trash Senator Bernardi’s office. Unsurprisingly, they also support Islam.

However, we should not think for a moment that victory has been achieved.

There is only one acceptable outcome in relation to Safe Schools. It should be scrapped, taxpayer funds should be recovered and those responsible for approving the program should lose their jobs.

This has not happened. In fact, the Liberal government’s ‘reforms’ only entrench Safe Schools in schools. This is not a victory. It is still a disaster.

Here we have a program that teaches boys that they can be girls. It teaches girls that they can be boys. It tells children that it’s wrong to ask the sex of a baby and rails against the ‘heteronormative’ worldview.

It linked to pornographic material.

And it asked young children to role play being gay.

Its leader has publicly declared that this program has nothing to do with countering bullying and everything to do with promoting ‘gender’ and ‘sexual’ diversity. To school children.

Along the way, the concerns of parents were arrogantly dismissed.

It’s received $8 million from the federal government.

And now the Education Minister, Liberal Senator Simon Birmingham, has announced that the program will continue with minor modifications and amendments. Federal funding won’t be cut.

Excuse me?

What world is Senator Birmingham living in?

Five years ago there was no Safe Schools program. Then it was snuk in the back door. And now, after weeks of constant bad press, the program is going to continue. It’s not a victory. It’s a smashing defeat.

In any sane world, kids in Grade 7 would not be asked to imagine that they were ‘coming out’ as a homosexual (as if children this age can have any concept of what that entails).

And we certainly do not live in a sane world.

The proof of that is in the Safe Schools review. Not only did it not recommend that the entire program be set on fire, shredded, set on fire again and then placed deep inside a nuclear waste facility capable of holding its toxic sludge.

Instead, it actually found that having children role play being gay was:

“consistent with the aims of the programme and the Australian Curriculum, educationally sound and age-appropriate”

Australian children are struggling to read and write. But our National Curriculum has space for 12 year olds to pretend that they engage in casual sodomy. It then teaches children to role play about how they should tell this to mum and dad.

In what possible universe is this educationally-sound or age appropriate?

Of course, if it’s fine and dandy for school children to role play gay, then it’s gonna be cool bananas that they also explore the concepts of gender fluidity, bisexuality and pledging allegience to the LGBTI cause.

The truth is that there is nothing safe about homosexuality. About 10% of the homosexual population suffers from HIV/AIDs. About 85% of those who suffer from this illness are homosexual. But Safe Schools doesn’t teach these facts. It promotes homosexual behaviour as if there are no consequences for it at all.

That is not safe. It is dangerous deceit.

Simon Birmingham and Malcolm Turnbull have done nothing more than protect this dangerous deceit. That’s because the Liberal Party as a whole no longer has the will, courage or determination to win these fights. Instead, the numbers clearly show that the Liberal Party has more in common with the Safe Schools activists than ordinary Australian mums and dads.

In fact, the stoush over Safe Schools has only occurred due to internal political wrangling between Tony Abbott and Malcolm Turnbull. The program, no doubt, should go. But this battle is primarily about politics rather than principle. Tony Abbott’s government funded Safe Schools and it was raised in the Liberal Party room while he was Prime Minister.

Absolutely nothing happened.

Now there can be no doubt about where this program is headed: for expansion. There will be a massive rainbow backlash supported by the fawning media. In five years time Safe Schools will be back worse than ever because Senator Birmingham has left all its key components intact.

And so this is important to understand: the reality is that the ‘gutting’ of Safe Schools is hollow. It’s nothing more than smoke and mirrors to keep mums and dads (and conservative politicians) onside with Turnbull. The bullies clothed in rainbows have kept their program, they’ve kept its content and they’ve kept the money you and I have forked out to line their pockets while they indoctrinate our children.

That is not a victory. It’s a loss.

  1. That such a program could come into existence is staggering! The perpetrators could reasonably regarded as treasonous.
Not only is it Child Abuse on each individual participant but it has serious and fatal consequences for our society and civilisation through psychological manipulation and contravention of basic philosophic principles.
A human being has certain psychological requirements for optimum growth and development. Children are children and should be allowed to be children although throughout their pre-pubescent childhood are given important identifications by their parents: boys identifying with dad and encouraged to do boys things and girls identifying with mum and encouraged to do girls things.
Men and women have different wiring and differing psychologies and for a strong and cohesive society have differing roles which are inherent in their genes and strengthened in their up-bringing. There is nothing wrong with this. We all have our strengths and weaknesses both as individuals and as male or female. To mess with these basic facts of nature, especially when humans are at their most impressionable is tantamount to the destruction of society.
Through attacks from the feminist movement over the decades it is now being demonstrated the European men no longer know how to act like men (generally speaking) and hence Europe lies as a defenceless nation of women unable to counter or cope with the onslaught of Islam. There is a required balance in society where women tend to empathise and men objectively police. Men go out and meet the dangers before they get past the front gate. This is not happening.

What are the chances they’d all reach this decision independently?”

  3. Hey True Blue
    Is it me and you?
    Is it mum and dad?
    Or LBTGIQ?
Is it standing by your mates
    When they’re in a fight?
    Or she’ll be right?

Fortunately all is not safely and securely stacked in the victim hierarchy. I can envision a member of an approved victim minority – Muslim boy at the difficult age of say 13 – deciding he or she wants to ‘transition’.

The political correctoids in the Safe Schoolz program will be hoist on their own libtard then. I seriously doubt the other Muslims are going to pretend little Mamdu is going to become a girl, allow him to wear the hijab and go into the girl’s facilities at the school, the mosque and the Muslim community centre.

    Stay tuned.

  4. You are dead right about Safe Schools. It’s a bad idea, based on wrong thinking. I’m a teacher, but I work in remote NT. Most of the kids in my class are aboriginal. Issues of cross-dressing and same sex attraction are simply in another universe up here, deserving of no attention at all. Instead, we are tackling illiteracy, innumeracy and truancy. I am glad we don’t have Safe Schools here, and I would ignore if if we did have it.

  5. Anyone who loves their children will not expose them to this sinister program. But don’t panic to much because in the end this stuff is always left to some doleful headmaster to enforce which means there are multiple ways for resourceful and inventive parents to dodge this guile.

  6. Mr CHRISTENSEN (Dawson—The Nationals Deputy Whip) (13:50): The genesis, research, advocacy and ongoing support for the Safe Schools Program is run by La Trobe University’s Australian Research Centre in Sex, Health and Society. In fact, the Safe Schools Coalition is run out of that La Trobe centre. Research by the Australian Family Association raised concerns about the centre’s deputy director, Gary Dowsett, a long-time advocate of ‘intergenerational sex’, otherwise known as paedophilia. I refer to Dowsett’s article ‘Boiled lollies and band-aids’ from the journal Gay Informationwhere he says: ‘How different then is that gentle, tentative sexuality between parent and child from the love of a paedophile and his or her lover? That kind of love, warmth, support and nurture is an important part of the paedophilic relationship.’ He argued in that journal article that paedophilia should be part of the gay movement and that it must be legally recognised and he depicted it as a part of a wider sexual liberation.

From 2000 to 2002, Dowsett was on the Victorian government’s ministerial advisory committee on gay and lesbian health, putting him in a powerful position to advocate for the Victorian precursor program to Safe Schools. During the lead-up to Safe Schools receiving $8 million in taxpayer funds from Labor, Dowsett was the acting director of the La Trobe centre. I think it would shock many parents to know that a paedophilia advocate was overseeing the organisation that came up with the Safe Schools Program. Given this shocking information, it is imperative that all federal funding to Safe Schools be suspended immediately pending a full parliamentary inquiry. I seek leave to table Dowsett’s article.

    Leave not granted.

  7. Safe Schools is reminiscent of People’s Democratic Republic. Both terms are outright lies.

The former is systematic psychic sexual abuse of children by people in a position of authority over them. In decades to come one hopes at the very least people like Roz Ward and Premier Andrews will be dragged before Royal Commissions to explain themselves.

  8. It would appear, Bernard, that your misgivings are spot on. The ACT Govt., as well as
the Victorian Government have now come out in open defiance of the review. And we learn from Family Voice Australia that there are STILL certain parts of the Original Document that are going to stay in. Pertinent questions that need to be asked is who will be asked to re-write? Hopefully no-one from Latrobe University or any LGBTI inspired academics who seem to believe that the heterosexual world is a figment of our imagination and only a phobia of theirs! What can be the solution to this world-wide takeover of morals and intelligent discernment by those who appear to have never been adequately educated?

  11. Why don’t they teach about the facts that 85% are HIV /AIDs not to mention all the rest of the facts.
If they do not teach the facts that’s called brainwashing, is it not.

Any parent who loves there children should make it clear that there children are not to be brainwashed with this filth that this bunch of degenerate grubs are pushing.

There is nothing safe about such at all.
It’s evil not to mention just so sicking messing with such young minds with such total trash that works to try to empower children over their parents.
It’s Nazi Germany or Communist that push that type of rubbish.
