Hope for a terrible affliction: My Testimony

I have taken a very firm stance against efforts to force us into accepting a lie – a lie that a man can be a woman. I have also expressed my opinion that there are better things that taxpayers’ money should be spent on besides ‘sex-change’ operations.

That does not mean that I do not feel sorrow or pity for those who are afflicted with this condition. It could just as easily been myself and only God knows the reasons for the individual crosses He asks each of us to bear.

Transgender people need help, support and compassion. They do not need the rest of society to live a lie.

They should also be aware that there is hope.

My Testimony is a story of hope. It is a story of redemption.

It details how an Australian man called David has found hope and truth.

  1. This whole LGBT agenda is one of the communist goals to break down traditional society from within. By promoting it the slippery slope commences. In the US NAMBLA has succeeded in getting one of its supporters into the Education System. NAMBLA – the Man/Boy Love Association wants the age of consent lowered to 10 so they can create more recruits for their cause. In Germany sex activists are trying to get beastiality legalised. Essentially it is a socialist policy to degrade all normal values and morality, in fact to get rid of the whole concept of what is moral. Every concession made means the boundary is pushed further and further. It reminds me of the last days of the Roman Empire where every variety of perversion was practised, the moral fibre of the people and the army were weakened to the point where they were unable to fight off the invaders.
Although I don’t consider myself religious, I still espouse the Christian morality I grew up with and am appalled and disgusted that this TINY minority has such sway with politicians and bureaucrats. I don’t care what two consenting adults do with each other in their bedroom but I see no reason why the taxpayer should pay for what is in fact cosmetic surgery. No man who is surgically altered will ever be a woman. They will never know the agonies of female pubertal experience, they will never menstruate. They are play acting a part and getting the medical profession to help them do it. I remember many years ago on an ABC forum discussing this topic and a “transgender” saying “I always felt like a woman because I liked makeup and playing with dolls”. I nearly fell off the seat laughing. I like playing cowboys and indians with the boys and climbing trees but it didn’t mean I wanted to be a boy. But I had a strong feminine role model in my mother. The blurring of gender roles is I believe part of the agenda to create confusion leading to the situation we have today.

  2. David’s story shows how faith can overcome the worst life can throw at us. He has found courage and strength he never knew he had. God never abandons us. I hope David can become an inspiration to others facing life crippling gender identity issues.
